North Carolina State Route 345 is a road that goes from US 64/US 64 Bypass south of Manteo to 'The Lane' and Thicket Lump Drive in Wanchese. The route connects Wanchese and southern Roanoke Island to US 64 and the rest of the state.

The Route Path:
NC-345 starts at an intersection with US 64 and US 64 Bypass south of the Town of Manteo. The route heads south, curving a little before straightening up as it enters the CDP of Wanchese.
After entering Wanchese, NC-345 curves southeast, passing by many houses and small businesses. Shortly after, the route intersects SR-1289 and curves east as it approaches the Wanchese Marina. NC-345 curves back southeast, passing by numerous industrial marina buildings.
Shortly after, the route intersects Tink Tillett Road, and continues south, before eventually reaching its southern terminus at an intersection with Thicket Lump Drive. The road itself continues back north as The Lane, leading back up to NC-345.
